I was going to get a 42" TV and mount it above a low fireplace that isn’t functioning (so there’s no heat/soot concerns). The wall above the fireplace is drywall and I don’t yet have a stud finder. Most likely, would there be normal spaced studs in front of a chimney? I’m just concerned about finding something I can screw the wall mount into.
