I need some good ideas on how to decorate my victorian home for Christmas.?

by Fire Places on April 26, 2010

I have a grand 2 story victorian home with two wrap around porches. It has two balconies and and 7 fireplaces. It was built around 1890 just to give you an idea of what it is. I need some really unique and inexpensive ideas on how to decorate it inside and out. Oh and I live in the south so not alot of snow. They shut down the whole town for an inch. LOL Anyway thanks for any help.

Lol, understand the snow issue, I’m in Texas! Your home sounds just amazing, congratulations!

Here is probably the best Victorian website on the internet, it takes a little bit of neogotiating, but you should be able to get lots of ideas from here. Also, keep in mind that decorating styles vary depending on what decade you’re looking at. You said your house was built around 1890 so I tried to stay in that year.
