We are thinking about adding a gas fireplace to our home. the style is a bit unusual so we don’t know what style to put in. A traditional may look out of place but a modern one may look out of place as well.
Does anyone have any thoughts about this issue?

I would definitely stay away from a traditional style. A modern one would be more appropriate, I think. But, I am only going by the external features of the home and for resale.
This looks like more of a modern style home. It depends too, what your furniture style is like. Do you have more modern or traditional furniture? If you have both, there are plenty of styles that are somewhere in between. I personally would go more modern. This way, it’s less likely to look outdated if you decide to update your decor. Go for a simple, basic design that will blend well with many decors. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
