We think particle pollutants are coming into our house from our unused fireplace. We would like to seal it with plastic but can’t find a tape that will stick to the brick. Any suggestions?
what is pure unobtainium? Is there a brand and is it easy to find at Home Depot.
We are not planning to use the fireplace at all.

if ur NOT going to use this again i would try to close the vent then get a piece of sheetrock or plywood thenc lose the whole opening to the fireplace and paint it to match whatever else is around there….that way u know nothing can get thru
It would have to be made of pure unobtainium, especially if you USE the fireplace.
